“ First time getting Chinese food in Highland and we were very happy with Panda Star. They are only open for take out during the pandemic, but they allow you to come in and place your order. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. There were 2 staff, Working and they were both so friendly and nice. The menu kids had the teriyaki chicken meals which was plenty of food- chicken, rice, chow mein, egg roll and a drink. They sell some cute little kids chopsticks near the front and my kids enjoyed them. Both my kids loved their food and my picky son (who doesn't normally like Chinese food) had seconds and even ate his egg roll. He didn't even realize it was vegetables until the end. I got 2 item combo with orange chicken and kungpao and both were great. They do not prepare the food until you order it. They do not have food sitting out in warmers. It only took us about 10 minutes to get our order and they brought it to our car. I liked that the food tasted fresh, the food was not greasy, rice and noodles were not dried out (like other places) and the food seemed lighter on your stomach. I didn't get that weighed down uncomfortable feeling I usually get after other Chinese food take out. Lastly, the prices were very, very fair. It is affordable for families. We will definitely come back. ”

“ This is a 5 star restaurant! The first time we came, we where treated very well. They made us feel like home. There food is the BEST that me and my family have had. It's fresh! They don't cook until you order. The vegetables have this very good taste of smoke on them. Just thinking gets my mouth water! The place has been changing on the out side and inside but the food is the same. It's a must try. ”

“ Panda Star.... 5 stars! Environment: 3. doesn't really bother me that there was a fly on the table! No one in the dining room and it was kinda warm in there! Service: 5. The young people in there were AMAZING! Welcoming and forgiving of a "not long" wait! Loved it! 2 gentlemen walked in separately and they knew them and their order! :) Food: 5+!!!! General chicken came highly recommended from fellow yelpers!!!! Rice and noodles are simple but so better than that sh*t with fake carrots and peas!!! Loved the beef broccoli and Mongolian beef! But general chicken is MORE THAN I COULD HAVE HOPED FOR!!!!!!!! Egg rolls were good too! Stay tuned for more comments because this place is OUR NEW GO TO NEW IN TOWN CHINESE RESTAURANT!
